Internet marketing

Marketing is the process of letting people know about a product or service and its advantages. Earlier marketing was by word of mouth and later it transformed through print and television media. The internet is the latest in this series is the internet, which has revolutionized the whole concept of marketing by taking it into great heights in quick time.

With more and more people using the internet, it has become inevitable that businesses turn to it to get their product or service noticed on a large scale by the means of internet marketing. The advantages of internet marketing are that it is relatively quick and can be reached to a wider audience, thanks to the geographical factor. Another advantage is that it is cheap in terms of costs, since there are a whole lot of sites where you can sell your product or service. Since the internet does not have any boundaries, it is always the preferred method by many businesses.

Internet marketing has still a long way to go with the advancement of technology which has made the world a small place to live in. Even the under developed countries have started using the internet to market their businesses.
