Drupal

Drupal is an open source software Web Development Framework or Content Management System (CMS). Over the last few years, it has emerged as the most powerful open source Content Management System. Drupal uses PHP MySQL and is very convenient to use. The advantage of using Drupal is that it can be used to create many more modules that are not possible by using Joomla.

Just like any other Content Management Systems, Drupal too makes use of a database to construct all the web site's content or textual content, and then combines the textual content with an internet site template design in an effort to create web site pages. The Administrator will have the ability to add, edit or modify any or all of the contents on the site without having to depend on any other person. They can create new menus, add pages and modules etc. the admin can also assign different tasks on the site to different individuals like regular writing new contents, but they will not have the authority to publish them. This kind of set up will suit organizations where the site will have contributions coming from different people, but the ultimate control will surely rest in the hands of the admin.

For people who are looking to create a website with features that are not so complex and who wish to keep the cost down, Drupal would be the best solution.
